Crayon Roll

Another project that was so so super fast. These crayon rolls was my ticket to a peaceful sacrament meeting...unfortunately I only made one and Gwen was more interested than I expected. I need to hurry and make another before next Sunday! I went with the twistable crayons because Gabriella likes to peel the paper off normal crayons. Although that would keep her quiet and occupied for several minutes, probably not such a good idea in the chapel! I also made some with colored pencils. You can make the roll as long as you need, and each pocket size can be adjusted to fit whatever writing tools you have. I also added the pocket for paper. The instructions on how to make one can be found at http://www.skiptomylou.wordpress.com/. Fun for a gift as well!

ok, I really am tempted to make these. How super fast and easy was it? It's adorable. Also... tell me the exact lens you are using for this picture... is it the one you got from your brother in law or something? What is it called? Love how super creative you are!

Alright, I'm done sending you my ideas for projects because your versions always end up so much cuter than mine! I love how they turned out.

I made one of these for the girls for Christamas. Have you seen the version where it is an apron with crayon pockets?
I had one when I was a little girl it was my favorite Sunday toy too!

Seriously cute! I almost want to make one for myself to store my architectural drafting tools in for school. Really!

Blaire I think you should! I've seen them with crochet hooks in them, and knitting needles, so I think anything like that they're perfect for!
