Crazy Quilt

For my mom's birthday I decided I wanted to make her a quilt. I can now say that I have successful made my first non square quilt. I have never done a binding before and for not having anyone show me, I think it turned pretty well. The quilt pattern was a little "crazy", but it was really fun to try something different. I like the colors and hope that my mom has stayed warm under it. I hear it's cold in Arizona in August.

This is the second quilt of yours I've seen and I love it. Mom showed it to me and it's just fantastic. It just reconfirms that I need to send the kids' baby clothes and let you have a go at making some little quilts for me. Let me know!

AH! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this quilt. They are the very colors I have been working with/wanting to work with for my little boy room. Lots of red. Some beautiful blues and yellows (soft and subtle, but there). Anyhow, I super struggled to find fabrics in my colors (side effect of a small town without decent fabric stores perhaps). Anyhow, I love the craziness as well. Job well done. I SO want that very quilt to cozy with. Your mother will love it :).
