Aprons

I really think aprons are the most fun things to make. I love to get carried away with ric rac and pom poms and fabric combinations. It's fun to have something a little saucy and sassy to wear in the kitchen. I made these for a few friends for their birthdays and they were so easy. No pattern, just more straight cutting and sewing. Sorry if you're sick of seeing this fabric. I'm tired of it too, but when there's a good deal you have to get lots right? I've finally finished it off, now I will allow myself to go out and get some more!
Oh, and try to ignore the cheesy pictures, I really didn't know how to best display the aprons for a decent picture! If anything, this crafy blog is helping me with my still life photography, I really stink at taking pictures without living subjects!

I have a birthday in April....and I don't own ONE apron. No not ONE. Never have. Can you believe it? I have never even put an apron on. What is wrong with me?? They are very cute. Nice job.

I love them. So cute like the aprons our grandmas wore in the 50's. And one can never have too many aprons. What a good B-day gift.

I hope you are keeping that top one for you! So cute that it matches your placemats. I love it! By the way... I wear mine all the time when I'm cooking my yummy southern cuisine! Thanks again.

Just like Shanen said, I have a birthday coming too. And you're going to be in town for mine! What is it about none of us girls owning or wearing aprons? Mom always had hers hanging on the duck hook in the kitchen.

Jamie your aprons are fabulous. You could totally sell them in a cute botique or kitchen store! I have to say I need more protection up top. It's my shirts I;m always ruining. Can you make full body armor cute?

Okay, I am totally an apron sewer too. All my sisters are getting one for Valentine's Day along with a cute Valentine's Day crafting book. Love some of the fun things you have done. You really are so creative! I think your pictures are great too.
